Add a global toggle in the admin ui

Imagine having content that is structured on Projects where all repeatable items and single items belong to a Project.
In this scenario it would be ideal if there was a "master/main" toggle that allows the user to select the Project and only see content from that project.
Almost like a global filter if you will.
I have provided a screenshot of how Umami Analytics does it.
