Responsive Administration Panel
planned
Aurélien Georget
For both marketers and developers, it could be very useful to have the ability to contribute content from their tablet and mobile. To do that, the user interface needs to be responsive and adaptive to every device sizes.

Hey everyone 👋
It's Aurélien from Strapi, we started a few initiatives, mostly on our design system, to start making some components responsive. We would like to work on this next year, we might do a big push in Q3 (July - September), but I can't confirm yet, however, it's being discussed, we heard you on this.

Can we get a update on this. This major roadblock is causing us to use other admin panel due to inability to provide the admin panel to our partners

Can we get an update on the timeline? This is an unfortunate oversight that makes Strapi useless for most professional projects.
Suggestion: Instead of a big bang responsive rollout, this can be done in phases to provide people a functional, perhaps ugly, mobile site to show that the commitment is there and that it is a priority to gain users' support. Just a thought. Thanks!

Still hoping for this to be implemented soon. I could have used an usable mobile interface many times lately.

Could I also suggest being more considerate when it comes to smaller laptop screens? Currently, a user trying to use the Content Manager to create and manage content on a small laptop screen will have much less space making it more difficult. I wonder if you could do something like an expand/full-screen screen functionality (for example a button) that would make the centre area bigger and a bit more compressed (better use of screen space) and make the sidebars smaller or hide them to maximise the space used by the Content manager.

Strapi is really cool, I'm a fan of the project and the Strapi community. But it's very outdated for a frontend project to not be responsive to mobile devices in the 21st century. It's ridiculous by today's device standards. All frontends nowadays are built with a mobile-first approach. It's so outdated for such a cool project like Strapi to have such a glaring omission! It's a very simple thing to fix.

Strapi has all the qualities but the option to use it comfortably on mobile devices. We live in a mobile first age and this is so much important. Please prioritize this 🙏

This is the only reason to choose other framework!
