From main repo README:
"Self-hosted or Cloud: You can host and scale Strapi projects the way you want. You can save time by deploying to Strapi Cloud or deploy to the hosting platform you want**: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean."
But the "**" don't lead to anything.. So: can I freely host Strapi anywhere I want? Why the asterisks? Which hosting platforms?

Thanks for sharing the feedback. Your question is for the strapi/strapi README, not for the strapi/documentation README. I'll pass this on to relevant teams. I would assume it might just be a typo (surrounding words with double asterisks in Markdown formats the text in bold, and maybe the other asterisks are missing).
You can self-host Strapi or use Strapi Cloud for easy hosting. Please refer to https://strapi.io/ for more product details or to https://docs.strapi.io/cloud for the Strapi Cloud documentation.
