There seem to be a couple of resources, but nothing specific in the right place.
For example there are a couple of guides:

Having a specific doc page for this would be beneficial, even just to provide a bit of best practice guide going forward.

GwynH Hi! I'm Pierre, Lead Technical Writer at Strapi. Thank you for the feedback. This is on our internal roadmap. Most of the team is currently busy working on developing the upcoming new major version of Strapi (which will also change the GraphQL API a bit, but shouldn't touch customization), but we'll get back to it afterwards.
