In my case, my users only need to create collection types, so we don't need single types.

It would be great if we could have an option to easily hide the single types from the admin interface (or also collection types), if there aren't any single types. This could also be done for collection types, if people only use single types. It's just too much noise to have that "SINGLE TYPES" submenu, if there aren't any.
